BERNARD J. SCHACHTER - Chief Executive Officer
Bernard is CEO and Partner of Ascott & Partners. Prior to founding Ascott & Partners, Bernard was, for 10 years, a member of the Paris Bar Association where he advised High Net Worth Individuals and corporations in their commercial and financial transactions. Bernard started his career in the legal and compliance department at Republic National Bank of New York (now part of HSBC) where he held managerial positions. He then went on to establish and run a successful Paris-based investment boutique, Harrington & Compagnie. Bernard holds a Master's in International Economic Law and a Master's in International Business and Tax Law from Université Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne together with a Master's of Management from Université Paris Dauphine.
SERGE KRANCENBLUM - Member of the Advisory Board
Serge serves as an Independent Advisor to Ascott & Partners. Serge has a long career in transnational solutions for institutional investors, entrepreneurs and family offices. Serge is CEO of SGG, a leading multi family office and corporate service provider based in Luxembourg, with a presence in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium. Prior to SGG Serge held various senior managerial positions at KBL European Private Bankers and Arthur Andersen. Serge serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Sydney & Paris Nord Lux, Cofinance Group and Jabelmalux a subsidiary of Sipef. Serge holds a Master's of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and a MBA from the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales Appliquées.
FRANCOIS du CHASTEL - Vice President
François is Vice President at Ascott & Partners and is mainly based in Paris. François worked for 3 years at Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking department in London where he advised on several deals in Energy & Power in EMEA. His experience ranges from defense mandates to M&A and IPO deals. François is a graduate from HEC and Sciences-po (Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris) and holds a postgraduate Business Law degree from Sorbonne University.
